Services

Practical ESG solutions for operational organisations across Europe.

We help suppliers and manufacturers quickly and demonstrably meet supply chain and reporting requirements, from ESRS reporting and EcoVadis to carbon footprints and ESG due diligence.

ESG that works, from policy to proof

Kroll SR delivers hands-on ESG services that work in practice: advisory, execution and assurance. We produce publishable reports that comply with ESRS or GRI, we build audit-ready evidence sets for EcoVadis and we calculate carbon footprints that are SBTi-ready. Every solution is focused on tangible results, not paperwork for the sake of paperwork. Our approach is pragmatic and full-service. We start with a short, focused scan to determine priorities, we work in short sprints with tangible deliverables and we embed the solution in processes and data so that improvements are lasting.

In doing so, we always take the operational reality of your organisation into account; proposals are feasible with the available resources. Whether it concerns a single production site, a chain of suppliers or a consolidated group, we make the approach scalable and proportional. You receive clear choices, measurable KPIs and a practical roadmap to execution. Want to know straight away what this means for your organisation? Schedule a short exploration or request our EcoVadis quickscan.

ESG Report
Voluntary or mandatory ESG report, compliant with ESRS (VSME ESRS) or GRI, practically applicable for single entities and groups. An ESG report documents the environmental, social and governance performance of an organisation and is either mandatory (CSRD/ESRS) or voluntary. Organisations often report voluntarily to meet client requirements or other stakeholder expectations. The greatest strength of ESG reporting lies in the internal reflection it delivers, facilitating compliance with client requests and audits, and enabling broader stakeholder communication. We deliver ESG reports that are practical and actionable, whether it concerns a full ESRS or GRI publication, or a compact VSME ESRS report. We focus the content on what is truly relevant for management and operations, ensuring the report is functional for decision-making and oversight. For smaller companies, we make the approach scalable and proportional in pace and effort.
Operational ESG advisory, policies, metrics, targets and actionable measures for sustainable returns. Our ESG advisory focuses on the practical implementation of an ESG management system with policies, metrics, targets and measures. We seek the optimal balance between sustainability returns and available resources, translating strategic ambition into operational execution. The approach is designed to connect directly with operations, ensuring policies are actually implemented. We design policies that managers and staff understand and can apply, we define metrics that are measurable and reproducible, and we translate targets into concrete measures with responsibilities and resources. Training and practical guidance ensure the system becomes embedded in daily operations. The end result is a sustainable ESG management system that delivers structural improvements.
EcoVadis support: documentation, evidence and structural score improvement towards bronze, silver and higher medals. EcoVadis assesses behaviour and evidence on environment, labour rights, ethics and sustainable procurement, with strong emphasis on policy and supporting evidence. We focus on quickly addressing the most critical documentation gaps and building a structural reporting foundation for further score improvement. The approach is pragmatic – we tackle the highest-yield items first and build from there. We deliver upload-ready documents, improved procedures and an audit-proof evidence register. We guide the submission, answer queries and advise on actions that lead to a higher medal ranking. For structural score improvement, we can provide an ongoing programme.
CO₂ footprint in accordance with the GHG Protocol, optionally SBTi-ready. We also calculate straightforward, rapid CO₂ footprints. We conduct CO₂ inventories in accordance with the GHG Protocol, including scope 1, scope 2 and scope 3. The CO₂ footprint can be delivered as a standalone deliverable, or as the basis for an SBTi trajectory including target formulation and submission. Step 4 in the process, the SBTi trajectory, is optional and is only carried out when the client requests it. You receive a reproducible model with clear data definitions and an audit-ready dataset, a clear breakdown per scope and concrete recommendations for reduction. If an SBTi trajectory is desired, we handle the target formulation and administrative submission to SBTi. We also deliver compact, rapid footprint calculations for clients who want a quick overview.
Product LCA in accordance with ISO 14040 and ISO 14044, with sector-specific flexibility and verification-ready results. We conduct product and system LCAs in accordance with the established ISO standards 14040 and 14044 and relevant sector or product category rules. Each product category and sector has its own methods and data requirements, and we tailor our approach accordingly. The goal is a reproducible LCA suitable for claims, policy decisions or technical decision-making. You receive a complete LCA report with clear system boundaries, hotspot analysis, uncertainty analysis and recommendations. We deliver clear output suitable for publication and for potential third-party verification. Where desired, we also provide claim texts and supporting documentation.
B Corp guidance: B Impact Assessment, evidence compilation and preparation for verification. We support organisations in preparing and submitting the B Impact Assessment, including improving scores and compiling the required evidence. The trajectory comprises preparation, an improvement plan and guidance during verification. The goal is an efficient path to submission, with a focus on sustainable assurance after certification.
ESG Due Diligence based on our ESG Passport model, scalable per supplier or at portfolio level. We conduct ESG Due Diligence using our proprietary ESG Passport model, featuring a standardised Current/Target matrix, entity and supply chain scoping and reproducible measurement points. The approach quickly delivers comparable scores and concrete improvement paths per entity or supplier. The outcomes are focused on action and execution, with practical Target measures and evidence building. Result You receive a compact Current-state analysis, a risk prioritisation and a Target plan with measures, responsibilities and an estimate of required resources. For portfolio analyses, we consolidate scores so that management dashboards can steer effectively. The DD is immediately deployable in transactions, contract management and supply chain governance.
ESG secondment with compliance to labour standards and practical on-site execution. We provide ESG professionals for temporary deployment, with clear task descriptions and reporting lines. Where applicable, we operate in accordance with NEN standards in the secondment process, ensuring that administrative and employment law requirements are met. The deployment is designed to provide capacity, accelerate projects and secure results.
Final editing, design, infographics and translation for publication-ready ESG reports. We handle the graphic design, infographics, translations and final editing of ESG reports, ensuring that the content is presented in a communicatively strong and professional manner. This service is available as a standalone offering after content delivery and can also be applied to existing texts. The goal is a consistent, readable and publishable end product.
