B Corp Certification — preparation and submission

B Corp is primarily a process of making choices, embedding measures and demonstrating that you actually follow through. Process in 5 steps

1. Current score and intake
We conduct a quick scan of the current BIA score and identify the biggest gaps. This intake directly provides the focus areas for score improvement and time estimation. Based on this, we formulate a realistic planning.
Per theme, we define improvement actions with evidence requirements and desired outcomes. Actions are prioritised on cost-effectiveness and feasibility. This plan is practical in design so that execution can be embedded in the organisation.
We collect and structure evidence, write necessary policy documents and ensure verifiable archiving. Each piece of evidence receives a brief explanation and source reference. This reduces the chance of delays during verification.
We support the actual submission and guide contacts with B Corp analysts, provide additional explanations and answer questions. During verification, we coordinate follow-up actions and documentation. This relieves your organisation at the critical verification moment.
After certification, we set up a plan for annual monitoring and prepare for triennial recertification. We embed processes for continuous improvement so the certificate continues to add value. This makes B Corp part of structural business operations.
