We help organisations tackle EcoVadis practically, from score analysis to upload-ready documentation. We quickly identify where the most points can be gained, what evidence is missing and which measures are truly needed. This way you build a solid dossier and work systematically towards a better score and a higher medal.
EcoVadis support: documentation, evidence and structural score improvement towards bronze, silver and higher medals. EcoVadis assesses conduct and evidence on environment, labour rights, ethics and sustainable procurement, with strong emphasis on policy and supporting evidence. We focus on quickly addressing the main documentation gaps and building a structural reporting foundation for further score improvement.
The approach is pragmatic: we tackle the highest-yield points first and build from there. We deliver upload-ready documents, improved procedures and an evidence register that is audit-proof. We guide the submission, answer follow-up questions and advise on actions that lead to a higher medal ranking. For structural score improvement, we can provide an ongoing programme.

EcoVadis is an international platform that assesses companies on sustainability. The assessment is based on 21 criteria across four themes: environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. You complete a questionnaire and upload supporting documents, after which EcoVadis issues a scorecard.
A score of 45+ points earns a bronze medal, 55+ silver, 65+ gold and 75+ platinum. The average score in the Netherlands is around 44 points. With professional guidance, most companies achieve at least a silver medal.
A complete EcoVadis programme takes on average 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the availability of documents and the current state of your sustainability policies. The first assessment can be faster if you already have relevant certifications.
The costs for EcoVadis guidance vary per situation. The EcoVadis subscription itself costs approximately €2,000-€6,000 per year (depending on company size). Professional guidance by Kroll SR starts from a half-day for a score analysis. Contact us for a no-obligation price indication.
Focus on three pillars: (1) ensure all your existing policies and certifications are well documented, (2) identify missing themes and create targeted policies, and (3) upload concrete evidence for each question. Many companies lose points due to poor documentation, not due to lack of policies.
The most important documents are: environmental policy, CO2 footprint report, code of conduct, anti-corruption policy, procurement policy, health & safety policy, diversity policy and any certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, VCA). Kroll SR helps you prepare any missing documents.
EcoVadis is not legally mandatory, but is increasingly requested by large clients as part of their supply chain due diligence. Companies such as Philips, Heineken and ASML require their suppliers to obtain an EcoVadis assessment.
EcoVadis assesses your sustainability policies and management, while B Corp certification looks at the total impact of your company on stakeholders. EcoVadis is more focused on supply chain compliance, B Corp on purpose-driven business. Kroll SR guides both programmes.
An EcoVadis scorecard is valid for 12 months. It is recommended to conduct a new assessment annually, so you can demonstrate improvements and keep your score current for clients.
Kroll SR guides you through the entire process: from collecting documents to completing the questionnaire and uploading evidence. We complete the questionnaire together with you, ensuring the answers are authentic and score optimally.
